Hall’s guiding principle of “self love” and positivity will help connect his personal brand with the MuscleTech® ”Strength Redefined” message.

“Fitness made me who I am today. Confident, determined, disciplined and competitive. Self-love is investing in yourself 24 hours a day and that includes what you put into your body, which is why I have partnered with MuscleTech®,” Hall said. “In our discussions, not only did the MuscleTech® message of inspiration align with who I am and what I believe in, but what’s in the brand pipeline from a product and innovation standpoint will certainly resonate with my followers going forward.”

“Ashton is one of the most dynamic and engaging personalities we’ve ever signed to represent the MuscleTech® brand,” said Iovate’s Chief Marketing Officer Jarrod Jordan. “We, like many other brands, embraced the idea of virtual fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic and Hall went out and built an entire business based around it. In speaking with other members of Team MuscleTech®, the name recognition and respectability he automatically commands will help amplify our brand presence along several different areas and verticals.”

The 5’11” Hall hails from Jacksonville, Florida, currently lives in Hollywood, California and has an athletic upbringing – including the highlight of playing college football as a 5’11”, 205 lb running back at Alcorn State University for two seasons (he also attended and played for the University of Central Florida). After school and without a professional football opportunity available to him, he fell into a bout with depression and saw his weight top off at 225 pounds, beer belly included — along with a body fat percentage of 18-19 percent. This, until close friends helped stage an intervention that would rededicate his life towards fitness and personal training, which would become an eventual career.

What came next was social stardom. Hall’s physique now includes a muscular 205 pound frame, 8 percent body fat and a personal best 100 meter time of 10.7 seconds. The first post on his Instagram® account @ashtonhallofficial came on April 19, 2020, while the first video on his YouTube® channel (Ashton Hall Official) came on May 3, 2020 – both at the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns. Now Hall employs a small team of photographers, videographers and editors for his own small-business, one he admittedly envisioned when starting to post just three years ago.

“For me, social media is something I will always be involved in and something that holds you accountable on the day-to-day,” Hall said. “I wouldn’t be at my 8 percent body fat if it wasn’t for social media and the people, my followers, who I hold myself accountable to. I do this for them. When you’re posting about it, you know you have to be about it. You need that authenticity.”
